Magical Shoes is a Polish brand that handmakes barefoot shoes in its own workshop in southern Poland, with ranges for women, men, kids and toddlers. I like that there's a wide choice, from sneakers, ballet flats and sandals to winter boots and hiking shoes, mostly in natural leather, suede and wool, plus some vegan styles. Soles are thin and flexible with a zero drop and a wide toe box, and men's sizes go up to EU 47.

How Magical Shoes fits

Sizing often runs short, so I'd measure your longer foot, add 5 to 8 mm and check each model's insole chart. Roomy over the top of the foot, so it suits medium to wide, higher volume feet. Slip-ons like the Pienza need the length spot on.
